A Quabbin Farm Album, a new book by Cathy Stanton featuring photographs by Oliver Scott Snure, will be released in June 2017 by Haley’s of Athol. This website is still under construction, but check back soon for more about the book, the farms and farmers, and the story of agriculture in the Quabbin region of Massachusetts.
In the meantime, you can get a sneak preview of some of the materials in the book by visiting the 2015 “Farm Values: Civic Agriculture at the Crossroads” website.
You can also see Oliver’s new portraits of area farmers in the gallery at the Athol Public Library through May 31.
